Turning flows and emails on or off

You control what sends at two levels: whole flows, and the individual emails inside them. Turning something off never deletes it - designs, timing, and stats are all kept, and you can switch it back on any time.

Turning a whole flow on or off

On Wiz → Flows & pop-up, every flow has a toggle. Switch it off and the flow stops sending and moves to the Disabled flows section at the bottom of the page; switch it back on there to resume. The menu's Turn off does the same thing, and inside the flow builder you'll find it as the Deactivate flow button.

The pop-up has its own toggle on the same page.

Turning a single email on or off

Each email inside a flow can be switched individually, without affecting the rest of the flow:

  1. Open the flow in the builder (⋯ → Edit flow).
  2. Find the email's Send Email node and flip its toggle.
  3. Click Save.

Email badges and flow counts on the Flows page

Back on the Flows page, the email's badge changes from green Active to orange Disabled, and the flow's count updates - for example, a Welcome flow with three emails drops from 3/3 to 2/3.

What the badges and counts mean

Badge

Meaning

Active (green)

The email is on and sending

Disabled (orange)

You've turned this email off; it won't send

The "N/M" count on each flow (for example, 2/3) tells you how many of that flow's emails are currently active out of the total.

Turning an email off only affects that one email. The rest of the flow keeps running normally.

Common questions

Does turning off an email delete it?

No. It just stops sending. Turn it back on any time - its design, timing, and stats are preserved. (Deleting is separate: the node's ⋯ → Delete in the builder removes it for good.)

Does turning off a flow delete my edits?

No - the flow moves to Disabled flows with everything intact, ready to re-enable.

Can I turn off a pop-up step?

The pop-up's toggle on the Flows page controls the whole pop-up; its steps are managed in the pop-up editor - see How the pop-up works.
